I began my casting career over twenty years ago in the Talent & Casting department at FOX. It was my first real window into how projects come together, and I was immediately drawn to the pace, the collaboration, and the way a single performance can change the depth and understanding of a character. From there, I was lucky to work closely with casting directors I deeply respect, including Jeanie Bacharach, Gillian O’Neill, and Lauren Grey. Those years shaped my eye, my instincts, and the way I work with producers, directors, and actors.

In 2011, I partnered with Risa Bramon Garcia, casting pilots and series for CBS, NBC, Showtime, and more. That experience opened the door for me to launch Christy Faison Casting, where I’ve since led projects for HBO, AMC, MGM, as well as films, short films, podcasts, and vertical dramas. My credits include The Newsroom, SEAL Team, Ash vs Evil Dead, The Walking Dead: Red Machete, Stargate Origins, Conversations in LA, and The Affair.

What keeps me in this work is the collaboration - building characters from the inside out, finding the actors who make a script feel human, grounded, and fully lived in. I care about specificity, truth, and trusting the moment when the right person walks in and everything clicks.
